TSAHC Home Sweet Texas

You don’t have to be a hero or a first-timer to get help. Home Sweet Texas offers up to 5% in down payment assistance for low- and moderate-income Texans.

Overview

Down payment help for everyday Texans.

Home Sweet Texas, also from TSAHC, opens the door for low- and moderate-income buyers across the state — no specific profession required. It provides down payment and closing-cost assistance worth up to 5% of your loan, as a grant or a forgivable second lien, so you can buy with far less out of pocket. First-time buyers can also add a Mortgage Credit Certificate for an annual tax credit.
