The heart of Georgia homeownership.

The Georgia Dream Homeownership Program, from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA), helps eligible Georgians buy with a 30-year fixed first mortgage (FHA, VA, USDA-RD or conventional) plus down payment assistance. It’s open to first-time buyers, anyone who hasn’t owned in three years, or buyers in targeted areas.

Up to $10,000

5% of the purchase price or a maximum of $10,000 — whichever is less — in down payment and closing-cost assistance.

PEN

Protectors, Educators & Nurses

Public protectors, educators and healthcare workers get more: 6% or up to $12,500. If you serve Georgia, you get a bigger boost.

Choice

Choice option

Borrowers connected to a disability can access 6% or up to $12,500 in assistance.
